The personal obstacles you face may be some of the most difficult. These include low motivation, indecision, or lack of self-confidence; unfair treatment, discrimination, or non-work losses. In addition, outside organizational, environmental, and situational barriers can come up during the dissertation process.

These include business failure, job demands, multi-role conflict, disapproval from others, uncertainty about the future, and lack of information. The important thing to keep in mind is that you have control over and can overcome all personal obstacles, even if they seem overwhelming at the time.

They do not have to affect the quality of your final dissertation.
